Xiaomi consumer technology giant, who recently became the second largest smartphone company in the world according to Canalys, has increased the price of two Redmi branded smartphones in India.
Two Xiaomi Redmi Smartphone – Redmi 9 Power and Redmi 9a – has received a maximum price increase of Rs 500.
Not all variants of two handsets have got price increases.
One variant of each strength of Redmi 9 and Redmi 9a became more expensive.
The Redmi series is more affordable compared to the MI series from Xiaomi.
The most expensive smartphone in the Redmi series from Xiaomi is priced at Rs 19,999 and so on.
The new price of each handset is reflected on the Xiaomi Indian website and applies to Amazon, Flipkart, and also through offline retail stores.

This model was launched at Rs 12,999.
Xiaomi Redmi 9A new prices from 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variants launched at RS 7,499 now sell at Rs 7,799.
This handset has become more expensive by RS 300.
