Mumbai: Tata Motors on Wednesday announced the commercial launch of its first electricity sedan under the Xpres brand – Xpres-T EV, starting from RS 9.54 Lakh (former showroom).
The Xpres-T electrical sedan packs a high energy density battery of 21.5 kWh and 16.5 kWh with two choices range – 213km and 165km (ranges of certified arai in test conditions).
Available in two trim options, Xpres-T EV is equipped with zero-tail-pipe emissions, single speed automatic transmission, double airbags, ABS with EBD as standard between variants.
Xpres-T EV can be charged from 0-80% in 90 minutes and 110 minutes (each for 16.5 kWh and 21.5 kWh), using fast charging or can also be charged from the 15-ampere plug point.
The interior of the premium black theme with standard automatic climate control and electric blue accents throughout the interior and the exterior will provide a different presence of other data.
Developed for commercial fleet customers, Xpres T EV will be offered at a price, after deducting fame subsidies.
