Yavatmal: The mastermind of Madu Sandesh Malekar, who was arrested on Saturday to deceive Delhi doctor from the Crore RS2, on Sunday held in police custody until September 7.
Mankar has been friends with a doctor from A Girl Anayasingh, as an entrepreneur.
During frequent interactions on social media, Anayasingh offers to accompany doctors abroad.
Investigation officers and Yavatmal SDPO Madhuri Biviskar told TII that Mankar had studied STD XII and lived in a rented room in Arunodaya society after his father’s death.
“The police tried to find out if anyone else was examined in a crime,” said Biviskar.
Posing as Anyasingh, Mankar has weaved the story of kidnapping younger sisters and convinced the doctor to visit Yavatmal and submit RS2 Crore in cash to be paid as a ransom.
