Yavatmal Man Bag Oz Patent for Weather Monitoring Gadgets

Yavatmal: A young researcher from Yavatmal pocketed a patent from the Australian Government recently because it created the weather monitoring gadget.
Varad Viswarupe said he and his colleagues Dr Milind Pande, Vishal Pawar and Mangesh Bedekar had found a new gadget that was useful for weather monitoring and retrieving accurate information.
Their discovery name is a “special zone weather monitoring system”.
Because there are often weather changes, general weather information about a city is not enough.
In big cities, weather conditions vary from region to region.
Zone specific information is needed in such situations.
This can be done using existing infrastructure from telecommunications service providers.
This weather parameter can be obtained using the Crowdsourcing method.
“Under patents, the proposed embedded system that can be installed on existing telecommunication infrastructure.
The inclusion of an embedded system with the required sensors must be installed on this cellular tower and is connected to existing infrastructure for routine operations without manual intervention,” Viswarupe said.
He added that this service can be given as a value-added service by telecommunications service providers at a nominal cost.
