Yavatmal: Special Forces Regulated by Dilip Police Supervisors Patil Bhujbal raided two places in Arni in the district on Thursday night and cherred 8 people, including 3 betting operators.
Police have also won cellphones, LED TVs, workbags, voice recorders, hotlines / pop on line and RS36,920 cash, with a total RS3,19,640.
Raids was carried out by API Vivek Deshmukh, Amol Puri Cyber Cell and Karewad Law.
According to sources, the SP office received a tip-off of Dens bets operated from two housing houses in Arni.
Therefore, the police team stormed the house of Dilip Piyush Bajaj and Nikhil Dilip Bajaj and seized equipment worth RS1,93,700.
The police also took the brothers to detention.
Another team stormed the residence of Ashfaque Sheikh in Mubarak Nagar and seized electronic equipment including 10 cellphones worth RS1.25,940 and RS36,920.
The police arrested six people, including five Satta players and Den operators.
Bookie received a bet in the T-20 cricket match which was ongoing between India and Sri Lanka.
The person who was arrested included paired bajaj, Nikhil was beaned by Bajaj, Ashfaque Sheikh (All Operators of Satta Den), Javed Amin Solanki, Muhammad Akbar Solanki, Ashfaque Khalid Sheikh, Khalid Sheikh Muhammad Muhammad Sheikh and Sheikh Maqsood Sheikh Unus, all Arnis.
They have been arrested under the relevant sections after submitting FIR at the Arni Police Station.
