Yeida floats the global tender to choose developers for the City Crore Movie Project RS 10K

Greater Noida: The Yamuna Expressway Industry Development Authority (Yeida) on Sunday initiated the Global Tender for the City Film Project Rs 10,000 Crore, which will appear in Sector 21 in public-private partnerships in three phases.
The first phase of this project is expected to be ready in 2024 and the final phase in 2029.

Technical and Financial Qualifications developers for the project, officials said, will be in accordance with RFQ (requests for quotes) and RFP documents, which include previous construction, development, and projects in films and media related sectors with a minimum Net Wealth of Rs 2,500 Crore.
“The concession period will be for 40 years that can be extended for up to 30 years.
Offer parameters include premium share or annual income, which is higher, paid to Yeida,” Singh said.
Reports of feasibility and DPR from the film city project were previously submitted by CBRE South Asia Private Limited consultants on June 7 earlier this year.
While the first phase of film films will include construction related to film production, such as film studios (on 20 hectares), film facilities (740 hectares), a film institute (40 hectares), an amusement park (120 hectares) with villas among others , hospitality, resort and commercial activities will be developed in the second phase in 2026-27.
Retail development and the rest of all work will be carried out in the final phase in 2028-29.
“In the first phase, 80% of work related to film production will be carried out so that film shooting can begin earlier,” Singh said.
