Yoga class online for covid patients from Wed

New Delhi: The Delhi Government will launch the online Yoga and Pranayam class for Covid-19 patients in house isolation from January 12, the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Tuesday.
He also said that this initiative would be the first of its kind in the world.
There will be eight classes each hour from 6am to 11am to 4pm to 7pm below the program “DILLI KI KI KI YOGSHALA”, said the minister’s head during online briefing.
“To help patients recover at home, the Delhi government has put forward one of the good programs.
The program will be unique in itself throughout the world.
In my understanding, we are the first to design something like this,” he.
Words during online briefings.
Kejriwal said the registration link will be sent to patients in home insulation and they can register for classes according to their convenience.
“Classes will be held in batch 15 and we have enough instructors to care for 40,000 patients,” he said.
Kejriwal said that the Covid-19 case increased rapidly throughout the country.
Delhi also witnessed an increase but it was seen that the speed of the spread of the virus had slowed down, the ministerial head said.
“I hope this trend will continue for the near future and the spread of Covid down.
At present, nearly 1,500-2,000 hospital beds have been occupied by covid patients and the rest in home isolation,” he added.
Kejriwal said that the instructor has been given special training for asanas and yoga practices related to Covid-19 recovery.
“Yoga and pranayam greatly add to someone’s immunity.
I will not claim that they offer full protection of viruses but they must help someone overcome them and recover more efficiently,” he said.
The main minister said they did not want this to be “some large-scale big broadcasts following”.
“We want this to be the right care regimen for each patient.
Even though Omicron (Coronavirus variant) is light, I hope this program will help each patient in their recovery.
Patients will not only be treated but also make sense of mental and spiritual peace,” he said.
