Lucknow: The Yogi Aditentalath government will begin distributing smartphones and tablets to the last year of graduation students and above December 25, which coincides with the birth alert BJP Stalwart and former PM Zajar Bihari Vajpayee.
About one lakh smartphone and tablet will be given to students last year BTECH, BA, BSC, MBBS, MD, MTECH, PhD and skills development, among others, at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

In the first phase scheme, CM will distribute 60,000 smartphones and 40,000 tablets.

Special Secretary, IT and Electronics, Kumar Vineet said more than 38 Lakh young people had been registered on the Digishekti Portal.

“The largest order has been placed by the government in the Permata Portal to companies such as Lava, Samsung and Acer for supplies of smartphones and tablets,” he said.
According to officials, to make a transparent and fair procurement process, the order has been made in the gem portal.
Companies have been asked to supply 17.75 lakh and tablet phones before December 24.
In the first phase, the order around RS 2,035 Crore has been made for purchasing smartphones and tablets.
Orders have been placed for 10.5 lakh smartphones at the level of Rs 10,740 per piece and for 7.20 lakh tablets at RS 12,606 levels each.
About 18 lakh smartphones and tablets will be supplied by the company immediately.
