Lucknow: To ensure a larger community participation in governance, Chair of the Yogi Adityanath Minister launched the ‘MyGov-Meri Sarkar’ portal on Monday.
The portal will give residents of the platform to send comments and suggestions and communicate directly with the government about various policies and schemes.
The website is an extension of the MyGov portal which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 26, 2014.
“This is an effort to ensure people’s participation in governance and get their feedback to provide the final form to the policy.
More than 10 crore people are directly connected to Portal which is a testimony for its popularity, “CM said.
“The government announces the scheme but there is no participation of people in preparing this scheme.
In democracy, the government is the people, for the people and by the people.
This portal will help us ensure that the community is part of a good government because of the government,” said Yogi, added that Not only people will benefit from various schemes through the portal, the government will also get their input and will also get input and suggestions to ensure that every part of the community receives benefits.
Emphasizing the importance of technology in governance, cm provides an example of a public distribution system in the state.
“The use of a Point Machine (Point of Sale) in stores that reasonable prices resulted in a massive reduction in corruption.
There are several problems with the food distribution system but we managed to overcome food security through technology,” Yogi said.
“The problem lasted until 2016.
In 2017, I visited places where death was because hunger had occurred.
These people have a ration card but there is no information about how to use it.
Their rations are sucked.
Then we install the postburn machine in more than 80,000 Fair process shop, which leads to crackdown against corruption and savings for the government, “he said.
Aimed at the meeting virtually, the Union minister for electronics and information technology, Ashwani Vaishnav, said the technology was being used to achieve ‘Antyodaya’ dreams.
“PM encourages the use of technology in various fields such as digital payments and direct bank transfers,” he said.
