Chandigarh: UT government has decided to start the night covid vaccination center in all civil hospitals and multi-specific hospitals, sector 16, from 5pm to 21:00 and to allow the store to remain open from 10am, not at 8 night.
The decision was taken at a review meeting chaired by the UT administrator P Singh Badnore on Tuesday.
On a special question from Badnore, the PGI Director of Jagat RAM clarified that civil works to install 2,000 liters per minute of oxygen plants have been completed and the factory will be immediately made functional.
Dr.
Amandeep Kang, Director of Health Services, said the overall Covid recovery rate was 98.4%.
He said 5.11,872 vaccine doses had been given in Chandigarh so far.
At present, around 38,000 doses are available, he added.
