Google Maps will now bring a smile to the face of Lakh Commuter in Delhi traveling every day by bus.
People in Delhi will be able to get real-time bus information on Google Maps.
Google has collaborated with Delhi Transport Minister, Delhi Integrated Multi-Capital Transit System (DISS), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (iiit) Delhi, and Lepton Software to add real-time information about the time of the arrival of the bus for Delhi on Google Maps.
Here’s how to use Google Maps to track the Timing Bus in Delhi: Open the Google Maps application on your Android or iOS device enter your destination and tap the ‘Go’ icon or tap the ‘Go’ icon and enter the ‘source’ and ‘destination’ and ‘location.
If you have not selected, tap the ‘Transit’ icon to see the time, bus number, route and real-time coming information highlighted in green or red.
Taking the recommended route allows you to see more information about route stops Tap the bus stop to see a list of all buses arriving, where the relevant real-time info is described by a green or red flare.
It is also possible to access real-time bus information by searching for certain bus stops, tapping its name and registered bus numbers.
You will then see a list of all buses arriving, with buses that support the location featuring their real-time ETA.
This feature is also available in Hindi, so users can navigate travel in their choice languages.
They can change the language in Google Maps settings or in device language settings.
With this new feature, you can get information about which bus to be captured and you will be able to see when the next bus actually arrives at your stop.
Google Maps will also provide estimated how long your trip will take, and if your bus is delayed.
Google Transit will automatically update time according to new conditions.
The arrival time based on the available time information available is marked in green or red on Google Maps.
