New Delhi: Gujarat MP Mansukh Mandaviya, one of the largest enhancers in the cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will now be responsible for the health and welfare of the family and the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
Previously on Wednesday, he was elevated to the ranked cabinet from the Minister of State (MOS).
He holds independent accusations of shipping services and MOS for the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.

Mandaviya’s political trip began his political journey as a member of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), RSS student wings, before joining Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the BJP youth wing.
Mandaviya became the youngest MLA in Gujarat in 2002 when he was elected from the constituency of Palitana.
Postgraduate in political science from the University of Bhavnagar, Mandaviya is also known for regulating the length of the Padusyatras (foot parade), including the two he holds as MLA to disseminate awareness of the education of girls and the dangers of addiction.
