Samsung has announced that they will stop displaying ads in several default applications that come pre-loaded with every Samsung cellphone.
At the end of this year, you can expect to see there are advertisements when using Samsung Weather, Samsung Pay, and Samsung Themes.
Samsung will encourage software updates to enforce this.
As per the Verge statement, Samsung said, “Our priority is to provide innovative mobile experiences for our consumers based on their needs and desires.
“We value feedback from our users and continue our commitment to provide them with the best experience of our galaxy products and services.” Be it’s a mobile budget or high-end Samsung cellphone, which people use to always complain about baked advertising into UI and Samsung Apps.
Although paying a higher price for its flagship device, it is very annoying to see ads every time each Samsung application is accessed.
While you can still expect to see ads on your Samsung mobile phone, but at least you will find no ads when using these three applications made by Samsung on your Galaxy phone.
According to the Yonhap report, Samsung will, however, provide “information” through search and recommendations.
This means you will continue to see ads on the Galaxy Store.
“We will do our best to provide useful information that customers need through searches and recommendations in content services or the Galaxy Store,” said Spirit Tae-moon, head of the Samsung mobile division.
