During the same period, there was no death in Tamil Nadu in the age group of less than 20 years.
In Tamil Nadu, one in five people aged between 51 and 60 years.
According to a report by Jeevan Raksha – who analyzed Covid trends in the country – for August 16-22, 1,249 deaths occurred in three countries with 71 percent of deaths in Kerala (893), 15 percent in Tamil Nadu (190) and 13 percent in Karnataka (166).
There were no signs of covid death among children under 10 years in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
In Kerala, there are only two deaths.
Men continued to be the main victims because two of the three deaths in the country were men (116 men and 50 women).
.
The report stated Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu watched 9.5 million cumulative Covid cases and 0.92 million cumulative deaths.
One of every five Covid deaths in India occurred in three southern neighbors.
Sanjeev Mysore, Conventor of Jeevan Raksha, told BM that last year around this time, because the world sought clues about Covid-19, the government had no strict choice.
According to Mysore, at the end of the first wave, the world is confused because of the Covid-19 deception pattern, then pay a heavy price by means of one million inclusion deaths in a matter of 12 weeks between March 10 to June 10.
“India is at the top of the third wave.
It was unable to make the same mistakes made by G7 countries.
Locking and restrictions on movements There are no more effective tools or cannot be given.
Therefore, people need to start living together with a pandemic and protect life and livelihoods rather smart.
However, people in the age group 60 to 80 years with co-morbidity continue to be high-risk.
Hospital isolation is the safest choice than home insulation.
We need to remember more than one of every five people Who gave up on Covid-19, died in 24 hours after entering the hospital and 50 percent died in 100 hours of hospitalization.
The main reason for people who choose home isolation is the convenience and superiority of costs, “Mysore added.
