Young children returned to empty plots for gentleman matches

Coimbatore: Relaxation of locking has encouraged children of all ages to return to vacant land on the outskirts of the city for Cricket.Club Games Cricket levels are always popular in Coimbatore, where many tournaments have produced good players.
But the last year proved spoilsport because of a pandemic.
Two-year-old J Nishanth, members of the popular cricket club here, said that the unused plot and empty farming land is the ideal place to get to know skills.
“I was hit by a different player bowling player who might not be professional, but knew the game.
Even though my club might not like me playing outside the club match, I came here every week.” He was addicted to the weekend cricket match, said J Harish Kaneswara club Kaleeswara Cricket Club.
“People say I see half my age.
The game makes me suitable.
I have played cricket since my childhood.” Harish had joined hands with 30 other people to clean the two hectares’ personal land in Kovipalayam at Vellamai Road to turn it into a cricket road.
They pay Rs 500 per month to use land.
This year old Kishore, who runs a hardware business in Ganapatati, said that the relaxation of locking had relieved for people like him, who used to play cricket at a small reason.
“My family doesn’t bother me on Sunday, when I play cricket from 7am to night.
It gives me energy for the rest of this week and makes me suit,” he said.
