Patna: Two peljawi borne bicycles are unknown to be shot dead by Garment traders Pankaj Kumar Sinha (27) near the Big Bazaar at Patna Sahib Station Road under the Chowk Police Station area at Patna City at around 19:30 on Wednesday.
Patna City ASP Amit Sharan said that the PANKAJ stood in place when criminals approached him and shot him once on the left side of the stomach after interacting for one or two minutes.
He said the Pankaj rushed to the nearest private hospital but died in a few minutes from the doctor who began treatment.
ASP said that the PANKAJ had lent money to several people and even filed a recovery case.
He said suspecting the police that he was killed either because of financial disputes or for personal hostility.
Sharan said the PANKAJ had at least two garment stores until last year but turned it off after losses due to Covid-19 pandemic.
He said Pankaj Father Krishnamurari Prasad Sinha was also a trader.
ASP said that Slain traders were residents of Humad Gali who were also under the Chowk Police Station in Patna City.
He said the police scan the recording of CCTV cameras and began to raids to identify and arrest the shooters.
