PGDM (RM-X): 2021-2022 Batch Institute of Rural Management Anand (Irma) – Pioneer in rural management was established by Indian Election – Dr.
VERGHESE KURIEN 42 years ago.
The Institute has been actively involved in facilitating executives that are diapkilling and support since the early 1980s.
In addition to its flagship program and management development program (MDPS), Irma has also made academic offers such as one-year (OPP) program in the 1990s and certificate courses in Dairy (CPDM) management over the first decade of this century.
With the experience of these two education programs for the executive, Irma launched Aicte approved by a 15-month postgraduate Diploma approved in the management – Rural Management Executive – PGDM (RM-X) in 2018.
Designed specifically for executives with a minimum of five years of work experience in cadres Managerial / supervision, PGDM (RM-X) has four class terms.
In addition to basic management courses and unique Irma offerings to understand and manage “rural”, the terms also include advanced courses that are distributed between the core and optional.
Core courses include those who like financial accounting, rural, cultural, and government (RSCP), organizational behavior, operational management, marketing principles, organizational structure and design, collective action and cooperation, strategic analysis, among others.
Some indicative elective courses are large data analysis, brand management, corporate social responsibility, management of change, microfinance, public policy analysis, among others.
Sharing knowledge through “Samvaad”: A forum to learn from each other the uniqueness of PGDM (RM-X) lies in its pedagogoges, which combine class learning with a field-based segment.
This program includes the Village Field Segment (VFS) which allows participants to experience rural life from close range; And project work modules (PWM), the apprentice segment focuses on integrating concepts with industry experience to provide a holistic learning experience.
PGDM (RM-X) provides excellent placement opportunities, as evidenced by the record placement of the two first batches.
