Padma award is one of the highest civilian awards in India which is announced every year in the Hawa Republic Day.
Awards are given in three categories: Padma Vibhushan (for exceptional and honorable services), Padma Bhushan (honorable service from high levels) and Padma Shri (leading service).
This award seeks to recognize the achievement in all fields of activity or disciplines where the element of public services is involved.
