Bengaluru: A 28-year-old young man and his friend was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly killing a former brother-in-law in the suburb of Doddaballapur.
Venkatesh, 28, and his colleague Niranjan, 27, the two residents of Doddaballapur, allegedly hacked Naveen, 30, a mechanic, on a farm in Kadirenahalli on Sunday.
Naveen’s body was found by passing people.
Doddaballapur rural police registered a murder case and arrested the duo accused.
Probe Introduction revealed that Naveen had married Venkatesh Gayathri’s younger sister.
Venkatesh was angry at Naveen because he tortured his sister physically and mentally under the influence of alcohol.
Venkates called Naveen to the farm to discuss this issue.
There he and Niranjan hacked him to death.
