Kanpur: A man from the Govardhanpurwa area in Kidwai Nagar on Saturday filed a complaint who accused a Muslim youth in the Juhi region who posed as a Hindu about assuming a fake name to establish a relationship with his sister and forced him to marry him.
The police initiated an investigation after receiving complaints and said a complainant, a resident of Govardhanpurwa, run a number plate shop while his 18-year-old sister pursued B.Sc.
The complainant alleged that the Akram from the Safed Juhi colony trapped her sister in a relationship with disguising it as Hindu and using a fake name Pappu.
