Coimbatore: The rural authorities arrested a teen at Saturday for murdering his new 22-year-old friend.
The deceased has been known as S Jeevanandham of all Bodipalayam close Madukkarai.
“Jeevanandham, a school dropout, had been a labourer.
He had been hooked on drugs.
Two months before, he’d snatched a cell phone from his 18-year-old buddy, plus a Madukkarai resident, also required Rs 3,000 to reunite it.
The childhood gave Jeevanandham the cash once he threatened to kill his parents” a police officer said.
On Friday about 8pm, Jeevanandham along with the youth seen Kuniyamuthur.
Jeevanandham purchased an intravenous medication in the peddler and hunted the childhood’s aid to administer the shot.
After he failed to find large, he requested the youth to purchase an additional vial.
After the youth stated he had no cash, Jeevanandham grabbed his telephone and threatened to finish his parents off.
The youth went home, took a sickle out there and murdered Jeevanandham,” the officer added.
The childhood surrendered prior to the Madukkarai authorities on Saturday.
