Bengaluru: A young man shot his mother and brother died on Thursday because it didn’t cook delicious Sambhar at Kodagoda in the Kannada Karnataka district.
The incident took place on Wednesday and the defendant, Manjunath Haslar (24), was arrested on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Ms.
Manjunath Parvathi Narayana Haslar (42) and Sister Ramya Narayana Haslar (19).
Manjunath, known as a drunkard, had a fight with his mother in the sambar he had prepared, by saying that it wasn’t good enough.
He also opposed his mother’s plan to buy a cellphone for his sister Ramya by taking a loan.
Parvathi was reported to tell Manjunath that he had no one told him whether to buy a cellphone for his sister.
At this point, a Manjunath who was angry shooting him with a gun made in a country lying at home.
Then, he also shot his sister, police said.
The incident was revealed after the defendant’s father returned home and filed a complaint to the police against his son.
