Patna: A young man from the Shamli district in Uttar Pradesh was alleged to commit suicide in Patna and recorded the action directly on Facebook after his girlfriend snapped, a police officer on Monday.
The dead person, who has been identified as Paramjeet Singh, followed his girlfriend and came to Patna on Sunday.
He went to Takht Sri Harimandir Sahib and returned to the lodge in the Patna City Chowk area.
Pondok officials suspected of playing after Paramjeet did not come out of his room on Sunday night.
“When Paramjeet Singh has traveled long distance, we think that he might be tired.
Therefore, we did not bother him.
When he did not come out of his room on Sunday night, we suspected playing and told the police,” said Maha Khant Roy A cottage official.
The door broke open by the local police.
“When the door opened, Paramjeet was found hanging from the ceiling fan and his Facebook page opened on his cellphone,” said an official from the Chowk City Patna police station.
He said the deceased had recorded suicide on Facebook Live.
Paramjeet also recorded a video message before taking extreme steps where he talked about his love for a girl, who was also a native of the Shamli district in Uttar Pradesh.
Paramjeet said he fell in love with a girl for the past two years.
Suddenly, he stopped talking to him that hurts him.
