Gurgaon: A young man cheats a couple from Park Rajendra in the amount of RS 94,000 with the pretext of helping them withdraw money from the ATM near the new Basti area.
While the incident occurred on March 21, this case was transferred from one police station to the police station since then, the complainant said.
Umesh Kumar said the crime was revealed when he received a message stating that the number was deducted from his wife’s account.
In March, Kumar had registered a written complaint to the Bank manager in Sector 4 and got help.
According to the complainant, he and his wife are at the ATM to withdraw money but cannot do it even though it is repeated.
A unknown man in that place offers help.
“My wife was inside to withdraw money and I waited outside.
The man entered the kiosk to offer help.
This is when they exchange ATMs and we don’t understand about it until we receive a message,” Umesh said.
The man allegedly took Kumar ATM and tried the transaction but failed.
Then, the man returned the card and left.
Umesh said he had gone from a police station to another police station for assistance.
“This case has done a round and finally reached the Arjun Nagar police station,” Umesh said.
