New Delhi: More than 1.2 Doses of Covid-19 Crore Vaccines have been managed in the capital until now and young people drive inoculation programs.
While more than 34 lakh people have received both doses, out of Delhies 1.5 Crore who qualifies for vaccination, 86.8 lakh has received at least one dose.
Overall, 1.21.15,909 doses were given until 8pm on Thursday, including 86,86,338 the first dose and 34,29,571 second dose.
Of these, the highest number of doses, 64.37,313, has been given to those in the category of 18-44 years, namely 53.1% of total vaccination.
Although those above 45 years have received 46.8% of all vaccine doses, it must be remembered that 92 lakh people in the 18-44-year category are the last to be eligible for inoculation from May 3.
Also, drive vaccination for this age group Closed for more than once in May and June due to lack of vaccines, while those who qualified for the second dose they were given priority.
Apart from all these factors, 69.9% of people in the age group 18-44 received at least one dose.
In comparison, those aged 60 years and above have received 20,62,970 vaccine doses, namely 17% total inoculation, and those in the category of 45-59 years have been given 36.15,626 doses, which are almost 30% of all doses provided.
Except for the Western District, those aged 18-44 years form more than 50% of those who have been given a vaccine dose in 10 other income districts.
Also, six districts have seen more participation by young people.
The southern district has provided nearly 13 doses of the lakh vaccine until now and the young population share is 59.2%.
Youth participation was 57.1% in the southeast, 55.9% in the north, 55.7% in the northeast, 54.4% in the East and 53.8% in the Shahdara district.
52% Tengah District Youth Participation is closer to the average capital, followed by the North West (51.3%), South West (51%) and New Delhi (50.2%).
The western district saw the participation of young people at least 45.8%.
The North West District has provided the highest number of vaccine doses until the 14.27,444.
This was followed by Southwest (13,38,167) and South (12,88,835) Regency.
Interestingly, this is also the three largest districts in terms of the area and includes many rustic bags with scattered populations.
While the Western District has seen the least participation of those aged 18-44 years, it is fourth among all districts in terms of the total dose managed (12,81,484).
On the other hand, the northeastern district saw a little vaccine dose given (7,22,613).
The adjacent Shahdara Regency saw the number of second lowest vaccine doses given at 8,35,442, while the Eastern District was the third lowest with 9,29,319 doses.
These three adjacent districts are not only among the smallest sizes, but also densely populated.
