Coimbatore: Pollachi All female police on Friday registered a case against a 21-year-old daily wage laborer for allegedly persecuting a 11-year-old girl in a village near Pollachi.
The police said the defendant, N Giri, lived near the girl’s house.
Last week, Giri behaved badly with a little girl when she went to a small shop.
Giri persecuted a minor again on Wednesday afternoon.
The girl told her father who visited the young man’s house and attacked him using firewood.
The young man suffered a severe injury in his head and was accepted at a government hospital where he was given four stitches.
He was treated as an outpatient in the hospital.
The police secured it on Friday night.
Further investigation is active.
