Jaipur: Youth in the state has shown great enthusiasm for Covid vaccination.
The number of doses received by people in the age group of 18 years to 45 years rose to 2.32 crores, which were more than 49% of the dosage given since the launch of the drive in January.
On top of the 18-year vaccination drive began in May and since it was more than 2.32 crore doses had been given in the category.
In addition, more than 1.05 crore doses have been given to people over 60 years.
The dose in the age group 45 to 60 has increased to 1.30 crores.
While the country is currently in the fifth place in this country with the highest number of vaccination, Daily Covid infection is not a concern for health authorities because only three positively tested in the state on Sunday as a whole reaches 9.54.129.
State Death Toll Stand at 8,954.
In the last 24 hours, Jaipur, Sriganagar and Jodhpur reported one case respectively.
“New infections every day have been significantly dipped, but there are still third wave threats.
People must be vaccinated and also they must continue to follow the appropriate Covid behavior,” said a health department official.
Until 10pm on Sundays, the number of vaccinated doses in the country was 1,34,668, took a total of 4.68 crores – 3.52 crore first dose and 1.15 second crore.
Even on Sundays, as many as 1,680 state government vaccination sites remain functional, while only 52 private hospital sites were given Covid-19 vaccines.
