Patna: One Suraj Kumar (25) was shot dead near Ambedkar Colony under the Sultanganj police station in Patna City around 1am on Sunday.
He is a small property dealer of time and belongs to Bisfi in Madhubani.
He lived in Kumhrar under the Area of the Agamkuan police station with his wife after the love of a wedding.
Police arrested Akash Kumar (21), Bittu Kumar (25) and Ravi Kumar (24) for alleged their involvement in a murder case.
Sultanganj Police Station Sho Sher Singh Yadav said it was unclear whether he was killed because of land, finance or other personal disputes.
Suraj has left home Saturday night to attend the procession for Idol Dewi Immersion.
“Just a few of his friends, including those who were arrested, took him to Ambedkar Colony and shot him to die after a fight.
One Indal Kumar allegedly shot Suraj from behind,” he said.
Sho said Suraj bikes recovered from the place.
He said the Indal avoided arrest.
“The written application has been received from his family in connection with this case,” Sho said.
