YouTube has announced that content makers with only 500 customers can access and make community posts.
Previously, at least 1000 customers were asked to get access to the YouTube community.
But starting from October 12, 2021, every YouTube channel owner with only 500 customers will qualify.
After saying that, YouTube has been mentioned in official blog posts that it may take up to 1 week to see the option to make a community post after the channel passes 500 customers.
Also, there is good news for the creators with even less than 500 customers.
“For channels under 500 customers, we work to bring a community post to you in the future,” YouTube said.
One reason to reduce the requirements of the number of customers is that Youtube removes the discussion tab for all channels on October 12, 2021.
“Until October 12, 2021, you can still access the discussion tab from the page on the desktop.
If you don’t have access to a community post, you can Use comments on your video to involve your viewers, “he added.
The new community tab is designed to replace the discussion tab, a longer feature that allows the making of text updates for viewers.
Community tabs, which are available on mobile and provide creative options that are more creative with support for images / gifs, polls and videos.
