MUMBAI: Bhandup police on Sunday arrested YouTuber Jitendra, popularly called Jeetu Jaan, following his in-laws alleged foul play in the death of his wife, Komal Agarwal, who had been found hanging from a ceiling fan.
Police had originally enrolled a case of accidental death, however adhering to the criticism by Komal’s mom and sister, even a case of abetment to suicide, even culpable homicide not amounting to murder, assault and criminal intimidation was registered against Jitendra.
According to her loved ones, Komal was friendly with Jitendra in March this year and they got married shortly after.
Her household alleged that Komal had phoned her up husband Priya and told her why she had been unhappy in the union because the duo frequently battled over petty problems.
