PANAJI: BJP Mayem Mla Pravin Zantye resigned as a legislator and left a party on Monday.
He tends to join MGP on Tuesday.
Zantye said that BJP has reached this stage because former Manohar Parricar’s former minister is no longer.
The former MLA said he joined BJP at the request of Parragar, but after his death in 2019, the local party and mandal did not support him.
However, he followed all the directions given by the party.
He said that every time he proposed the names of candidates who qualified for government work, the demand was not considered and there was no work given to the population of the Mayem constituency.
“The state government advertises 10,000 jobs and I provide a list of the most appropriate candidates, but no one is taken into account.
Every day I used to spend five hours receive a call from people who have filed government jobs, but they don’t obey,” Zantye said.
Zantye said that if the government wanted to advertise 10,000 jobs, they should be advertised two years ago and not at night assembly elections.
“You begin the recruitment process of five months before the election, where we know that the process cannot complete.
What is the point of announcing work, people are not fools,” he said.
He said that the next government must be proactive to see the needs of the people.
“I look at MGP as the future where they will take care of the state and locals,” said the former MLA.
Zantye submitted his resignation to the legislative secretary of Namrata Ulman.
He joined BJP on the night of the 2017 assembly election.
Before joining BJP, he had opposed the congressional ticket and even as independent.
He said that even after the Supreme Court was sent back to mine by forming a corporation, until now the government did nothing.
BJP recently triggered the possibility of a prospective Shet speech into the fold so that it cleanses that Zantye will not be given a BJP ticket to take part in the next election.
