Zero covid death in the last 30 days in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: The last death associated with Covid-19 in Gujarat was recorded on September 3, a month ago.
The state is one of the few in India to achieve that achievement.
Rajasthan neighbors are one example.
This was for the first time in a long pandemic of 18 months that the state had not recorded death.
From September 3 to October 2, the state has recorded 491 cases with a recovery rate of more than 95%.
Of the 33 Gujarat Regency, 19 had zero active cases on Saturday morning.

To place a figure in perspective, only five months ago, the state has recorded 2,650 deaths in May at an average rate of 88 deaths per day.

“But I will still urge not to be careful of the wind and follow the Covid protocol especially during the approaching celebration season.”
