Gurugram: The Ministry of Health directs all hospitals on Wednesday to keep their eyes open for every case of the Zika virus and other related diseases.
People, who have traveled to affected areas, will be examined to detect these earliest cases.
“We have formed 37 fast response teams.
Given the ongoing Covid transmission, fogging for adult mosquito controls will be carried out if a large-scale outbreak (Zika) is reported, taking fully precautions to avoid respiratory pressure among covid patients.

It comes to the heel of Uttar Pardesh reported the Zika outbreak on Kanpur, with more than 100 cases.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra and Kerala also reported Zika’s cases.
However, so far, no Zika virus patients were detected in Gurugram.

Some common symptoms caused by viruses are fever, makulopapular rash, conjunctivitis (red eye), and joint pain.
Other symptoms are muscle pain and headaches.
Clinical diseases are usually mild, with symptoms lasts several days to a week.
Severe cases that need hospitalization rarely occur, and deaths are rare.
However, the virus can pass from a pregnant woman to her fetus around at birth.
Such infections are the causes of microcephaly and other severe brain defects in children, said the doctor.
