Noida: The Ministry of Health has placed the Noida Alert Hospital and asked them to test the Zika virus after three districts above, Lucknow, Kanpur and Kannauj, reported more than 100 cases of Zika virus.
Across Noida, the number of cases of dengue fever went down but the number of high patients still reported in hospitals with fever.
So, the Ministry of Health has sent advisors to hospitals, asking them to track all cases of fever, conduct tests when needed and report immediately if there are positive Zika patients.
“We have increased supervision for all government health care centers and has reminded private hospitals too.
Until now, there is no case of the Zika virus in GB Nagar, but we are testing to see if we find symptoms on anyone,” said an official department Senior health.
In Noida, the testing of the Zika virus was being carried out in four centers, including those at Kailash, Fortis and Yathartha hospitals.
PGI’s child is the only government hospital who does the test.

However, pregnant women need to be careful because this disease can cause complications.
