Zoom to start displaying ads to users for free

You can immediately view ads on your browser page after you end your video call on zoom.
The video conference platform is driving ads to users who don’t pay for services.
According to the company, only basic users are free in certain countries that will see this ad if they join a meeting organized by other free basic users.
It is not yet clear which country is part of this pilot program.
The company also revealed that advertising will be launched only on the browser page after the user ends their meeting and banners on the website will provide a link to bring it to the Cookie Management Tool.
Zoom has also updated the privacy statement to explain this advertising program.
The company claims that it will not use meeting content, webinars, or messages (in particular, audio, video, files, and messages) for each marketing, promotion, or destination of third-party advertising.
Last month, the company launched a direct transcription feature for all users.
Previously, the feature was only available for paid users.
Plans to make it available for all users for free were announced by the company in February this year.
Now his life, users don’t need to ask for access, but can activate it using the meeting toolbar.
This feature uses robotic transcription services that allow text transcription speeches in zoom and webinar meetings.
Other video conference platforms also adapt to this tool.
At present, this is limited to English, however, the company said that it would add support for more languages ​​soon.
This platform aims to offer automatic closed text in 30 languages ​​for the next one year.
The company has revealed that it also works to add direct translations for 12 different languages ​​over the same period of time.
