Nkandla, South Africa: Hundreds of supporters of the former South African President Jacob Zuma still camped outside his home on Sundays vowed to make the country not in front of him if he was imprisoned.
After historically, he sentenced to a period of 15 months to insult to the court, the South African Constitutional Court agreed to hear Zuma’s challenge to cancel the command.
The deadline for submission will expire on Sunday but after refusing to testify in corruption trials, Zuma did not show signs that he would surrender to the authorities.
In a power show, Zuma loyalists wore Regalia ANC they had camped outside the Homestead Nkandla leader who was fought in the province of Kwa-Zulu Christmas for weeks.
Some on Sunday sing, “Don’t rush the war, kill the war!” “If (Police Minister) Bheki Cele came here to catch Ubaba (Zuma) he had to start with us,” Lindokuhle Maphalala told AFP.
Vowed to protect Zuma against prison, the protesters called for President Cyril Ramaphosa to retreat.
“We are here to say Ramaphosa must retreat.
Must go down”, said loyalists who looked angry.
“Like from Monday we will make the country unexpected.” The police, under the order to arrest Zuma if necessary, are placed in all provinces on Sunday in an effort to control many people in Nkandla.
Jacob Zuma Foundation said he would discuss the media on Sunday.
If the 79-year-old child fails to surrender on Sunday, the police will be given three more days to arrest him.
