Vienna: Alexander Zverev sent Spanish teenager Carlos Alcaraz in a direct set on Saturday to secure his seat in the final of the ATP tournament in Vienna.
The number four world ends Austrian Adventure Alcaraz 6-3, 6-3 ahead of the second semi-final between Jannik Sinner and Frances Tiafoe.
The 18-year-old Alcaraz stole the show this week towards the first ATP 500 semi-final appearance.
He has held his courage in the final tiebreak in the Friday quarter-finals to beat Matteo Berrettini 6-1 6-7 (2/7), 7-6 (7/5).
But he could not deal with the dominant Zverev which secured victory with US cards after an hour and eight minutes.
Zverev Germany was hunting for his fifth title this season.
