Rajkot: a massive explosion at the Rolling Scrap plant goes at least 10 workers with burns with three conditions declared critical.
The incident occurred at the Arihant Furnace Rolling Mill owned by one Sandeep Kothari near Sihor Town in the Bhavnagar District on Sunday.
Police sources said that workers suffered burns because liquid iron spread from the furnace.
This unit is located in Sihor Gidc, police said.
All of them rushed to a government hospital in Bhavnagar, said the official, added that the effort was to ascertain the cause of the explosion.
Bhavnagar Regency has a large number of rolling factories like that received from the Shipbreaking Alang page melting in the furnace and various products such as bars, stems and others are made.
The three workers who were said to be critically identified as Amar Kumar Jagdish, Ramesh Yadav and Sunil Pal.
All workers are indigenous people from various villages of Bihar and Odisha and between 22 to 30 years.
