Nagpur: Ten family members from Shivaji Nagar under the Dharampeth zone were tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.
They have returned from a wedding ceremony in Hyderabad a few days ago.
Zonal Medical Team Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has identified 30 contacts near the family and takes their samples too.
The Nagpur district recorded a surge in 19 sudden cases – 16 of the city, 2 rustic, 1 outside the district – on Tuesday.
Six new city patients come from other parts.
10 Family members have been treated in private hospitals and said to be vaccinated, not including one below 18 years.
