Vadodara: The General Manager of Ch Jewelers and his friend who had stolen 7,853 grams of gold coins was sent to the 11th day of the police guard by a local court on Wednesday.
Soni’s accusation and Taraj Dewanji was produced before the court on Wednesday and the police wanted their custody to restore stolen valuables.
“They will be baked about who they sell gold coins to and if there are other people who are involved too,” said a police officer.
Soni has used three names – Marmik Patel, Manav Patel and met Patel – to produce a fake credit voucher.
“We will investigate if there are people with such names actually exist and if they are involved in fraud,” police said.
Upheld the Public Prosecutor Memada, the court sent a duo to police detention until August 22.
Soni has sucked a coin worth Rs 4 Crore from the Showroom and sells it through Dewani to fund his son’s foreign education and also pays a loan of his son and also pays a home loan.
But because Soni uses a credit voucher with the same customer names, his colleagues became suspicious and told the owner of the showroom.
