Rajkot: Even though the number of fresh Covid-19 cases was in a decline, the death toll increased by 11 people who surrendered to infection in the Saurashtra area on Monday.
According to health officials, two people each died in the cities of Rajkot and Bhavnagar, while each one died in Rurkot Rural and Jamnagar City on Monday.
Three people surrendered in rural bhavnagar while each one died at Devbhumi Dwarka and Amreli Regency.
The number of new Covid-19 cases remains stable in Rajkot City on Monday.
According to Rajkot Municipal Corporation, 602 people were tested positively on Monday against 522 on Sundays.
In rustic Rajkot, 175 people were tested positively.
In the Jamnagar district, 134 people were found infected with 55 people on Sunday.
In the Bhavnagar district, 84 people were tested positively against 147 on Sundays.
