Chandigarh: Amid fear of the spread of Covid-19 during the celebration season, the situation in Punjab seems to be controlled until now with 12 districts that have active cases in one digit.
From these districts, three only have one active case.
The count of patients undergoing treatment throughout the country is in 229.
According to the record, Nawanshahr, Mukstar and Mansa only have one active case on Sunday, while Pathankot and hopefully each has every active case, eight in Barnala, seven in the capurthala, Ferozepur and Tarn Taran, five in Gurdaspur, and three in Sangrur.
The active case decrease also relieves pressure on health facilities throughout the state.
Oxygen bed residence – 3,927 in government and 5,641 personally – has dropped to more than 2%.
A total of 9,375 oxygen beds, of a total of 9,568, empty, while only 54 ICU beds from 1,596 were occupied.
In recent weeks, the country witnessed more recovery than new cases, encouraging the ratio of active cases of nearly 0.038% to the ratio of active all-india cases by 0.47%.
Deputy Deputy Minister of Punjab O P Soni warned people by letting their guard down.
“We cannot lower the guards even if there is one active case in the state or surrounding,” said Soni who urged people carefully during the celebration season.
He asks people to get themselves if there are symptoms of covid developing.
The Deputy Ministerial Minister said that the state government has so far visited more than 76% of the population with at least one dose and around 29% of people are fully vaccinated.
He appealed to everyone to be pasted earlier and followed the right Covid behavior because this was the only way to fight a pandemic.
Vaccination is being carried out with enthusiasm in all states and special camps being held to invest workers at their workplace, he added.
