Ranchi: Because the country celebrates the achievements of the 100 Crore vaccine, Jharkhand has been able to record more than 60% of beneficiaries that meet the requirements using more than 1.9 doses of crores.
Of the total 2.64 recipients who qualified Crore, 13.2% was fully inoculated while 60.75% had received their first dose.
According to data available with the state health department, a total of 34,32,000 beneficiaries that have the majority of health care workers, frontline workers and the elderly above 60 years have been fully invested while more than 1.6 Crore receivers have received their first jab.
Speaking with Toi, the Nodal Officer for the Covid-19 vaccine in the state, Dr.
Rakesh Dayal, said, “This vaccination occurs at a steady speed in Jharkhand and we have come far from running less than 100 session sites to more than 2,500 every day.

Asked what initiative of the State Health Department to accelerate vaccination coverage, Dr.
Power said, “To increase our vaccination coverage, we have taken several initiatives such as cellular vaccination vans throughout the state, organizing intensive drives specifically for people living in rural areas and publishing Daily targets to each district and ask them to achieve them.
At present, we have set a target of 3 doses of lakh per day and efforts to ensure that this is achieved.
