Vadodara: A total of 14 candidates are in a commotion for four seats including two in the category of donors and each representing teachers and high school principals at the University of M – Senate highest.
The selection for all seats is scheduled on January 13.
Wednesday is the last date to receive and supervise the nomination form in this category.
Seven candidates have submitted a nomination for two donor chairs.
This includes the syndicate of sitting Jigar Inamdar members and mayak patel.
Five other candidates including members of the Vrajesh Patel Senate, Pratik Joshi, Dr.
Firoz Holia, Dhwani Patel and Ragi Patel have also submitted a nomination.
Inamdar and mayak Patel fight under the banner ‘Team MSU’ – refers to the Safron group from members of the Senate and Syndicate today enjoyed the majority in the body.
BJP supports Vrajesh Patel and Pratik Joshi nomination.
For the selection of a single chair representing city secondary school teachers, five candidates have submitted a nomination.
This includes Arvind Gandhi, Shyamsinh Maurya, Dashrath Patel, Kiran Patel and Digvijaysinh Rathod.
For the selection of a single chair representing the head of the secondary school, two candidates – Bhasker Desai and Paresh Shah – have submitted a nomination.
