Patna: The Samastipur District Court in Bihar has said sentence of 14 people in the murder of a Vikas Ranjan journalist.
The journalist was killed on November 25, 2008 in the Rosera Sub-Division in Samastipur Regency.
Family members from the deceased have leveled accusations against 14 people including the Lok Jansakti Party (LJP) Block President Rosera, Swayamwar Yadav.
Heera Devi, lawyer prosecution in this case, said that Vikas Journalist Ranjan was killed on land disputes.
The dispute was with his cousin’s brothers in his home village.
Judgment comes 13 years after the incident.
“Relatives Vikas Ranjan hits the conspiracy to kill him.
They employ thugs to eliminate him.
His body was found on November 25, 2008 in Rosera,” Heera Devi said.
“We produce strong evidence including audio clips and videos that threaten the lives in court.
The accusations have threatened Vikas Ranjan and his family with terrible consequences several times in the extensive daylight.
We also produce many eyewitnesses in court who helped get justice.” he says.
