Greater Noida: A 21-year-old woman has been ordered in a case where a BTECH student from the larger College Noida is found depending on its rented accommodation.
Police officers said the woman had been booked for suicide control.
On August 18, Rahul Sharma (22), a resident of Agra, was found hanging herself from the ceiling fan in rented accommodation in Greater Noida.
He allegedly used an electric cable.
According to the police, friend Rahul, who has been ordered, is a technical student at a private college in Greater Noida.
FIR lodged in this case said that the woman “lured” Rahul with a marriage proposal and made him buy some expensive items, including jewelry.
But then, Rahul knew that he was in two relationships again.
After Rahul’s death, his mother filed a complaint of the police who accused that the woman asked the young man to marry him.
He claims that students often ask Rahul to buy expensive gifts.
“He asked my son to buy jewelry for him.
When my child knew that he had dated two other people, he tried to talk to him.
But he told my child that they bought a more expensive gift than what Rahul get him.
He is very Upset.
He has spoken to me about this too.
Then, he spoke with his brother and his uncle.
He said he felt better after talking about the incident, “said the woman.
Mrs.
Herul accused that on July 7, the woman had met Rahul.
“That day, he took the new Phone of my son he had bought online through a credit card.
When he asked him to return it, the woman said he would do it.
But after some time, he told my child that he had sold the phone,” said that woman.
“He also encouraged my child to commit suicide,” said Mrs.
Rahul told the police.
Rameshwar Kumar, Sho, Beta 2 police station, said that FIR was registered against women under it 306 (suicide reduction) and 379 (theft) IPC.
“Investigations are underway and soon, students will be called to be questioned,” he said.
