Vadodara: a private luxury bus collided with container trucks near Bhaniyara Village on Jalan Raya Vadodara-Halol in the early hours on Thursday left 15 passengers injured.
The police told that nine passengers suffered a sad injury while six others had a minor injury.
According to the police, a private luxury bus registered in Rajasthan crashed into a truck around 4am on Thursday.
Bus passengers, most of them from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, were sleeping when the accident occurred.
A loud voice collision warned local residents who rushed to the crash site.
“The bus driver’s cabin was badly damaged and Shahrukh Qureshi driver was trapped in it,” said a police officer.
Local residents call the fire brigade from Vadodara to bring passengers and drivers out of the bus.
While the passengers were carried safely, firefighters had to use a gas cutter to tear the front bus to issue Qureshi.
Everyone who was injured was taken to the SSG hospital for treatment.
