Jammu: A 15-year-old boy was injured after accidentally stepping on the land mines while grazing his livestock near the control line in the Poonch J & K district on Tuesday.
Injured teenagers, identified as Mohammad Yasar from the Poonch’s Noorkote Mohalla Pothi area, accidentally stepped into a loud paddle when it exploded, said the source.
“Yasar suffered an injury to his left leg and rushed to the Poonch District Hospital.
He then shifted to the District Hospital in Rajouri where he was referred to Gmch Herbs for special care,” said a police source.
