Ahmedabad / Letter / Vadodara / Rajkot: Class 2 girl from UDGAM school for children here was positively tested for Covid-19 after returning from originating after attending the event.
The school authority confirmed this case and told students who attend classes with children have been asked to report their health status.
Class 2 girl is one of at least 18 cases from all Gujarat who have tested the positive Coronavirus in the last 10 days.
Children go to school in online and offline mode.
The numbers included nine of the letters, four of Ahmedabad, three of Rajkot and two of Vadodara.
Two teachers – each of Rajkot and Vadodara – also positively tested.
R R Vyas, Deo of the rural Ahmedabad, confirmed that UDGAM schools for children have reported positive cases after school has been directed to take precautions.
Manan Choksi, managing the school trustee, said that the child was last attended the offline class nine days ago.
