Surat: In a surprising incident, a 19-year-old young man died while making a short video on his cellphone for social media posts near Gayatri Temple in Anuvrat, a letter on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Prathan Vadhvani (19), a resident of Patia Patia.
According to police, Vadhvani has been out of school after studying until grade 9 and joining his father’s sari business.
He used to make a short video and upload it on his social media account.
On Sunday afternoon, Vadhvani made a video with his friend Rutvik Soni near the Gayatri temple when he fell and became unconscious.
He rushed to a new civil hospital and from there his family took him to the Mahavir Trauma Hospital for further treatment where he was declared dead on arrival.
Police Sarthana investigated the case saying that there was no sign of an injury to Vadhvani’s body.
“The cause of death will be known only after the postmortem report arrives,” police said.
